Warranties
All wheel assemblies have a two-year warranty against hidden defects. DUKE aluminium and carbon 3k rims are guaranteed for 2 years and 3 years for DUKE Carbon SLS2 and SLS3 against any hidden defect. For other products, please check the manufacturer's website carefully to see what damage is covered by the warranty.
Wearing parts (bearings, pawls, ratchets) are not covered by the warranty, except in exceptional circumstances.
A tyre, rim or flap will not be covered by the warranty if you are unable to pressurise the tyre. Sometimes this can be tricky, but that doesn't mean the product is at fault. Some tyres work better than others. We are not responsible for the mounting of the tyre. Tubeless conversion systems allow the use of standard tubetype tyres in tubeless. However, it should be noted that using the tyres in this way for a purpose not intended by the manufacturer could invalidate his warranty. JP RACING BIKE1 will not be held responsible for any damage or injury that may result from the use of a tyre not intended by the manufacturer.
Slight cosmetic defects such as irregular anodising, colour variations or slight scratches do not affect the performance of the product and are not covered by the warranty.
If you damage a flap with a screwdriver, tyre iron or any other aggressive tool, the warranty is void.
The use of mini pumps or over tightening of the valve body may cause damage to the valve and flap by tearing. Separation of the valve and flap resulting from stretching of the valve from the flap is not covered by the warranty. A foot pump or compressor must be used. The warranty only covers manufacturing defects in the flap and not handling errors.
Tubeless Stan systems are supplied with the necessary information to fit most tubeless tyres and rims. Once the transformation has been carried out, and during the first few rides, you should pay particular attention to the behaviour of the tyres on the rims. Because of the large number of tyres and rim types, some combinations work better than others. During your first few rides, check your tyre pressure regularly. If the pressure is too low, there is a risk of damage. The flap warranty covers manufacturing defects such as vulcanisation defects.
We are not responsible for wheels fitted with Notubes rims by a third party or for the quality and problems resulting from their use. If a defect is found in the rim before assembly, it must be returned to us for inspection. It will then be replaced or refunded.
We offer a fitting service where we guarantee the fitting and quality of the wheels. In the event of a failure, we will make every effort to return the product to you as soon as possible.
But final warranty decisions are not our responsibility, we return suspect parts to the distributor or manufacturer who are the sole judges. The cost of returning a defective part to our company is at your expense, the cost of returning it to your home is at our expense if the part is under warranty, otherwise, the cost of return is at your expense.
